Expect another year of the unexpected in 2009. UA Baja has a few new tricks up their sleeve and the team is currently full-tilt into the design phase for Baja SAE 2009.
Once the academic school year resumes the team will finalize their design plans and being physical implementation of their 2009 prototype.
Pending compatible dates the team will be making its first recorded appearance in Baja SAE Midwest and/or Baja SAE East. However, the team is still unsure how test a floating vehicle when you live in an arid desert. Perhaps construction of a large pool is due.
For 2009 the team has plans to expand its successful infrastructure to incorporate more members and continue its efforts to educate the younger population through school visitations and public appearances.
